Looking for a washed out, damaged reverb

Looking for a reverb for droney/washed out parts. Something that will just completely take over whatever I put through it. Obviously I want something that can 100% wet and has a long decay but I want to avoid any super hi-fi or "epic" for lack of a better word (examples would be the Walrus Slo or the Keely Caverns which I tried and did not like at all). Doesn't need to tame reverb at all because I have that covered. Extra modulations, resonance, dirt, octaves etc. a plus but not necessary. Hoping to keep it under or around 150 (including used).

My first thought was the Poly Beebo, which does a million things but, relevant to your wants, it does convolution reverbs, based on impulse responses of real spaces. Mostly these are rooms of various sizes, stairwells, bathrooms, etc. But people have also made IRs of packing tape being dispensed, running water, someone coughing, an engine revving. So very unnatural reverb effects. The decay is not long enough for some people (3.5 seconds), but you can combine the convolution reverb with a standard algorithmic reverb with a longer tail.

My second thought was the Gamechanger Light pedal, which is a spring reverb with a whole heap of odd and gritty features. Though, again, the decay is not incredibly long.

But both of these pedals are really expensive. The EHX Oceans 11 has a lot of options and runs at about $140 used. Could be an option.

Don't have much experience with it but EQD Afterneath? Maybe not really broken sounding, but you should be able to dial some cavernous droney sounds.
I wound have said EQD Transmisser if you wanted resonance things but is out of production.
Everything else that comes up in my mind is out of that price range
Maybe a used Red Panda Context 1?

The Caroline Meteore is a self-described "lo-fi reverb," and has a great character to it, as well as a feedback/oscillation switch and gain control for really cool textures. I love mine!

The Pladask Romferd is a great characterful weird reverb. Probably won't be found at your price, though.
But there are a bunch of Belton reverbs that will get you there. Meterore has some fun tricks up its sleeve. People like the Mantic Proverb but I think some versions have volume drop.
Maybe shop around for a DBA Reverberation Machine?

Have you tried just stacking your tame reverbs? Running multiple delays in series will also get you a wet, all-encompassing wash.

The Adineko does self-oscillating feedback and it's really better as a reverb than a delay. (roughly $140-170 these days, but if you try classified ads/forums, you can probably go slightly less)

I tried the Afterneath at the same time as the Caverns and the Slo and it was definitely my favorite of the three (it was the only one I liked) but I was not blown away by it either. The transmisser is definitely on my list, they are not that expensive over on reverb and from videos they sound pretty good. Always little hesitant to buy something without trying it though.

Astral Destiny would have been a good choice but for the lack of 100% wet, the only thing I don't like about it. If you don't mind combining a couple of cheap ones, the TC Prophet is a very nicely loaded economy delay that goes full wet, paired with a Mosky spring reverb (malekko clone), plenty of ambience and atmospheres between the two.

One of the EHX Holy Grails? Simple, cheap, gets 100% wet, will sound nasty if you put it before dirt pedal or dirt amp or in pile of dirt in a ditch

it's expensive and kind of large/impractical, but the Vongon Ultrasheer fits your description (it even has modulation).
it doesn't have a ton of headroom, so it distorts in a cool way if you hit it with a hot signal. does 100% wet. will oscillate into a big cloud of murky sonic goo.

The Reverberation Machina may be good for the dirt/broken sounding part, but it doesn't go full wet.

EHX stuff seems a valid alternative for a decent price point.
