For all the DIY folks: here you can order the PCB to build a FX86 clone!
https://dirtmongerinstruments.com

I ordered one (together with the Metal MAster PCB, if you order both you get 4$ discount), but I think I'll swap few components to build a 3band EQ grunge instead.

Got my Dirt Monger Effects Death Metal clone the other day. I can’t believe I’m saying this but the gain knob really is a nice addition and really adds the ability to get some nice “Grunge” type fuzz sounds as well as the typical crazy distortion. Still has that FX86 “sizzle” when cranked but actually a very useable distortion with a nice 3 band EQ.

My Dunn Effects clone is in the mail. Looking forward to A/B/C’ing them next to the OG, the Digitech and the 86B.

Was going to buy a space echo, decided on two clones of a pedal I already have twelve of…..

You would have flipped the echo for more 86's anyway. Skip the hassle

Plus, we all know that you should let others all buy the new greatest mainstream $$$ unit to find all the bugs from them rushing production and wait for the second run or the flips :thumb:

Never has a hot head looked hotter

The death metal is really excellent though. I have the digitech and dod ones, I think i prefer the newer one, but they are both good
