I love the sparkly matching cab. I hope you have some Bowie or T. Rex in your set.

Have y'all seen that Science is coming out with a Mother preamp pedal? Looks like it's designed with and maybe built by EAE.

I saw that! Looks like it can power a cab so I'm definitely interested. Figures this happens right after I get a Terror Stamp for hexmas.

Gonna knead somme gut pics b4 I just buy a bass EQ & another DOD Gunslinger, but prix is pretty good? All those demos I watched are A-OK, but figuring I could prolly get there with some extended JFETting/squeezin' cheepin''?oldangelmidnight wrote:Have y'all seen that Science is coming out with a Mother preamp pedal? EAE seemed to do the designin', but Science is selling! Also a few popped up through dealers, so that means it'll come back sooner than l8r ::
I know Science will make moore, but one selling for $800 this weekend was a pizza di pressa

Yeah, Science and EAE are good at building the hype. They'll be in regular production so I'm sure you can get one used before long.
On the one hand, I feel bad for whoever would pay $800 to be able to say they got one early but on the other hand, fuck that dummy.

Agreed. But the proliferation of people who want to be dummy-fuckers raises the flip profile, each eager to be the first to insert their unsavories inside internet-based dummies.oldangelmidnight wrote:Yeah, Science and EAE are good at building the hype. All of which gets hyper-fueled by the "YouTube Pedal FOMOtions" that carpet-bomb the YT airwaves with massive, coordinated influencer vid-drops released at the second the pedal becomes available. This arrangement means that the "demo videos" can't possible "advertise" the pedal, because the pedal sells out before you can watch all the videos. The videos just seem to stoke the desire of internet dummies looking to get railed by flippers.
The Demos in the Dark guy fried his unit by plugging his Mother (before turning off the phantom power) with his rig.
Which meant one more unit was sent his way.
Which meant two less potential units in circulation for people intent on using potential pedals in order to make potential music and raised the rabid frenzy of potential dummy-fugged flipper-profiteers.
