Ya, I am incredibly lucky that music like this happens at my local hangout all the time. It was a treat for me to be able to get to the Ryan Driver gig as it usually overlaps with a work night,

i'm going through mounds of burned CD-Rs of live music and i found several Anthony Braxton performances i don't think i ever even listened to. should be interesting. 74, 75, 81. no, that's not one of the song titles. there's also a bunch of Thelonious Monk broadcasts and some Mingus stuff. i need to cull discs really badly, but am loath to let a lot of stuff go because i "might listen to it someday." well, i'm running out of somedays, and i need the shelf space.
