There's a lot of things you can do with small buffer sizes. :snax:

lol. that... is a very good point.

i have a bud that looooves his, and i keep almost grabbing one but... i don't really need one. it looks amazing, but i'd rather just use an CVOcd or Mutant Brain or some such and control from Ableton.

as fun as it is, i feel so Not Productive At ALL jumping from sequencer to sequencer to platform to platform. with all the new rando/chance options in Live 11, want to focus on that controlling everything mostly.

I'm planning to get midi 1u's for that too, but at the end of the day my mind goes too wide on ableton and I end up hyper focusing on small things. disconnecting myself from the daw with a sequencer has always made me make more music. It happened with the Digitakt and the OP-Z. I wrote a lot of music on those despite having them for only a few weeks each. :idk:

that's awesome. KNOW YOURSELF.

i mean. grain of salt. because i SUCK at finishing ideas. but i never feel like i make progress towards songs with disparate sequencer options. i need clips and recordings and patterns and such all in a central thinger?

Yeah I kinda agree with this. It is why I have moved away from having a big capable euro sequencer, would probably rather use MIDI and digitakt because
a) that's a sequencer I like and it's better than most euro stuff and I already have it,
b) like you said, my drum patterns and synth sequences are saved in one box per project!

NERDSEQ ORDERED !!! :!!!:
Got a used one on reverb, with midi and trig expanders (would rather have cv over trig but it will do for now).
and more simultaniously or simply crazy good sound source, etc.

Edit: ORDERED A MOB OF EMUS TOO :!!!:
Juno (thanks whoever mentioned this dealer in the previous page, never heard of it before) had it price lower than moogaudio and anything on reverb.

Setup looking like this so far (mob, castor and all nerdseq stuff not here yet):

yurrrrrrr. i went into modular after i quit doing bass band stuff because i sat down with my all software setup and.... fucking hated trying to do music. the weirdness and versatility and just FUN of modular made me interested in noises and musics again. and i learned a tonnnnnnn noobling around.

but now it feels like a lot of software, and a LOT of Ableton, is built on the idea of Modulate Anything, Here's A Weird Way Of Doing That, and Injected Levels Of Randomness. all the things i adore about modular.

totally not ditching my euro loots. but i haven't turned on my main case in awhile. urf. haven't evend used Chaos once. been having a blast with soft stuff, Ableton, and a few hardware synths.

and yessssss. easy savability and repeatable actions and everything in one file is GOOD.

Hahahaa yeah if I could handle the screen time (wrist and eye problems mean it's tricky enough using a computer in my job and I try to limit extracurricular stuff as far as possible) I would definitely be working ITB because i know technically it does what I want and a million times more....

There was a Reverb shop for Junkie XL's gear back last December, so it probably was

I do regret not buying that Kawai K1m from the Official Reverb Switchfoot Shop, but them's the breaks  Also it was way overpriced, obviously :summon:

Got an e-mail from Sweetwater that they had five Behringer 960 sequencers in stock... ordered and now they're due in late May? Meh, whatever.
