I wonder how far down the magnet bypass needs to travel before the pedal changes states, because I can see myself getting dust, sand, old shoe gunk and little pebbles between those (seemingly) completely flat surfaces that are to clank together. The sound of the bypass is very satisfying in the promo, I will say.

Holy Smokes! That’s the Distortion pedal that I didn’t know I needed!

Did you listen to the Spiralcaster demo? Those pitched, glitter sounds at 2:34 are something I've not heard out of any drive/gain device. When I move and can decompress, the 20% will be one of my first hardware purchases.

Oh wow, no but thanks for surfacing the Spiralcaster demo. Great riffs, a huge variety of fun tones and CV powered note bursts. Fun!

This is what is messing me up lately, thinking hard about preordering:

The Uranograph looks intense. I've been wanting to see something like a digital Lyra or Pulsar, as I love the sounds, but not the inability to revisit and reshape preferred sounds (also don't want to have to tune or patch). You can get Lyra-inspired VSTs and samples for a DAW, but I would like to have a hardware device with presets, that would work well in a tabletop setup (digital drone synth + MOOD/Microcosm/Ricorda/Fable + tape delays). Seeing that the Uranograph has MIDI, built-in tremolo + other modulators, and 96 presets has me intrigued.

I get Soma + Buchla vibes from the Uranograph. It’s essentially what I have been wanting for a tabletop centerpiece too.
I think I am going to preorder the first batch and sell some stuff to pay myself back.

Has anybody jumped on the Empty Head bandwagon yet?

As a trem glutton, I'm digging this warbled, dual-tremolo from them. (nice chop, some slow ring mod-esque sludge, lo-fi throb)

I ended up preordering for the first batch. I am stoked! May be my last biggish purchase for awhile. I figured pre-order for the first batch so I get a smaller tariff but who knows what will be happening in that space in a few months from now. Plus I just want it as soon as possible…
