hi im steve and ive been a guitarist for about 9 years. only recently have i fallen in love with analog gear. currently, i use both analog and digital stomp boxes in my pedal board. analog fuzzes have become my newly developed fetish. im looking forward to owning some of devi's awesome pedals and trying out anything else you all might recommended. ive been lurking for awhile and everyone on this board seems really cool. well, heres too learning a lot, lol'ing a bunch and maybe buying some used gear off you guys.

hello everyone, i am very happy to see little don hertzfeld smilies, "my anus is bleeding" lol! other than being new to this forum, i am 28. i play guitar. i love boutique pedals and have been chomping at the bit for one of devi's, no pun intended, for a little while now. i must have stumbled onto the effector 13 site back in '05 maybe. this year i started looking at schematics and building pedals for myself and thought this might be a cool place to find out a little more on the subject. i enjoy pondering universal mysteries e.t.s, a.i., black holes, evolution vs. intelligent design to name a few. i have interests in philosophy, metaphysics, psychic phenomenon, astral projection and paranormal activity. i really like cartoons, flash animation and clay animation. which brings me back around to my deep appreciation for art.

i play guitar(rather well(why lie)) and I play a little bass, as well as piano...

been playing a little less than two years, but I practice for 6 or seven hours a day usually...so I surpassed all my friends who have been playing for similar amounts of time.

I live in a shithole known only as amarillo texas, we are the only town to have ever pissed off maynard james keenan so badly that he vowed never to return. We are the only town to my knowledge to have booed mars volto off the stage simply because we're assholes, and we are also the only town to my knowledge that will knowingly hunt down and kill people for not liking country or metal. And unfortunatley I'm not a big fan of either, so finding people who share my musical values is like trying to find a needle in a haystack in a needlstack.

I hate this place, and I'm leaving in less than a year to move to dallas, so I'm not complaining. College here I come bitches.

Hey.

I'm jrmy - I've been playing bass for 16 years now (jebus! I should be better at the damn thing by now!). However, I also hate staying on root notes, and love my pedals, so I tend to frustrate guitar players. Started off as a metalhead until I discovered "alt rock," then indie rock, then synth pop (ooh - backwards jump), and now it's all just music to me. I love me some Peter Hook basslines, MBV, Yo La Tengo, Ride, Cliff Burton-era Metallica (although Garage Days Revisited blew my mind at the time) and the sound of Mark Lanegan's voice (no matter what band he's singing for). I live in Providence RI, where I make a living as a graphic designer. I'm married, with a son, a dog, two cats and a band that's been writing and recording without playing out for something like four years now. But we're almost done! Really! We mean it this time!

I'm benjamin the noise junkie, half assed guitarist and lo-fi devotee and i love all ways of destroying sound so... i've found a real home with these pedals as i just got my first one (the aenima, which i consider a little slice of heaven in a box) and already got the second one on the way, and like everybody... i'm trying to budget for more!
