this is awesome, but it'll be better 12 different builders, one pedal each month, limited run of 20 for each pedal, i'm guessing $135-$165 each pedal. It'll be like the 90s when labels put vinyl samples/eps each month available via mail order , i'm so excited this could be some cool stuff.
I'd be stoked if it could be done for $50 a pedal. BUt it would be lame to have to sign up for a whole year. I think it'd be something like, more of a 'pedal a month' club rather than a subscription. if you want that months pedal you can buy it, if not someone else gets yoru spot in line. i dont know, im thinking out loud here, but i think this is a cool idea and if no one else is going to take it up then i just might!
well i saw it from a different perspectives, you dont have to sign from the whole year. I know the cheaper the better, but in the end mostly of the pedals will be simple fuzzes/boost to be able to do in the price range and it will loose it appearsm(also it has % of retailer markup since i thought a retailer is the one who bought the subscription from each builder monthly). I was thinking of having the builders to do one of stuff/forgotten prototypes that were to crude or wild, but still sound amazing and unique.
January - Devi Pedal February - Mellowtone March - Dwarcraft Devices April - Protone may - ....... december - midfi electronics
seems like it'd be crazy organizing a ton of builders! but maybe though liek fuzzhugger it could be organized.
i sorta wanna do a pedal a month myself, it could be cool! i'd like screenprint them or something, each month a new color and new circuit. could be interesting. cheap style

I think it's a very cool idea. If you do the pedal of the month thing, I'd be more than happy to "highlight" each on FuzzHugger. Whether you have me stock them or not. Even if I'm just linking to your eBay listings for them.
It's an enthusiast site and I'd be enthusiastic about this. Let me know if you wanna bounce some ideas around.
Dunno if this idea is still kicking around, but what if it was bigger and more open-ended than a year-long subscription? Letsgocoyote mentioned something like a modular pedal that took "effects" cartridges like an old nintendo. What about dsigning a multislot master pedal that had some kind of function independent of whatever got plugged into it (like maybe a Fuzzhugger pedal activator kind of deal), and then you could get different builders to make $65 modular cartridges that you could plug into the thing to take it to other weird places? In terms of controls, maybe there's one master volume, and each slot gets a single "mix" control...
O.k., now it's starting to sound like a nutty amount of work again, but it could be soooooooooo cool...
