Re: Stereo Memory Man vs. Deluxe?
So the deluxe is good enough to justify the $130 difference?

Re: Stereo Memory Man vs. Deluxe?
It's really what you're going to use it for, if you want an effects pedal get the Deluxe, if you want a song writing tool that can be used as a delay get the stereo one ( I assume you mean w/Hazarai).
I'm not sure if the Deluxe one can do this but I really like Reverse echo on the Hazarai, really cool, especially when you can get these bit crusher and unique chorus sounds.

Re: Stereo Memory Man vs. Deluxe?
Also, from an email from Mike "Analog Man":
"Hazarai it's digital, not the same. the stereo memory man
is not as good sounding and noisy.
No analog delays are really good in stereo... maybe boss DD7?"
Yeh! I knew there was another reason.. it's digital.
Doesn't Diamond Memory Lane do stereo (with the ST-MIX)?
I'm always questioning...
In your shoes I'd get one of the later DMM's...
This link is useful... check it out:

Re: Stereo Memory Man vs. Deluxe?
The SMM doesn't have modulation does it? I think that alone is worth the price difference. IMO, the modulation is what makes the DMM so special. And 300ms is so short, I think.
