Midi-sync to expression variables through expression input

Is there any such device that would interface with the expression pedal input of an analog pedal and allow simple syncing of parameters to midi.

This wouldn't have to be all that complex I wouldn't think and if it doesn't exsist it could be rigged up and programmed using something like Max or Pure Data.

Yes, that looks like it might just be what I am talking about and not wildly expensive.

I am thinking that it would allow any pedal with expression pedal input to have some of the same rhythm syncing capabilities of something like the Adrenalinn.
