so devi,hows yer mig????
I know I got my 100U a week or two before you got your 50, how are you diggin it so far. Have you had any thoughts about mods? I have been running mine through a stock 5150(the original one) slant cab with damn good results.

yeah, that oak mig combo always looked pretty cool....If I could just find a 2x12 cab that had the bass response of a 4x12 I'd be set.

should be a fairly easy mod. one wire between the input jacks.
In the mean time do the old marshal method. Jumper cable between the low input of channel 1 to hi input of channel 2.
Ok if it's channel switching via foot switch and relays it do be a mite more complicated than that.
If I can find a schematic, I'll check it out.

well, if you do end up just getting a different amp..and you have the cash...you should check out one of those Frenzel amps. My other guitar player has one that I have been using since my mig is too loud for practice, it fucking cooks! This one is loosely based on a fender 5e3 circuit, but house another input for a more marshall type circuit and is somewhere around 30watts. I was running it into this bogner 1x12 cab and it was the best sound I have ever heard...especially for a rig that probably weighs in at around 30lbs total
