
How did you guys get into this business? Where did you begin? What did/do you read and recommendations? Do you like working in this business? Do you like getting high on solder fumes (j/k)? Why advice would you give a relative newb? What are your influences? How do you start designing your circuits? Is there a basic formula? What was your first build? Favorite orignal pedal? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10? 15?
It seems like since the advent of the web and all the great resources regarding stompboxes, "boutique" builders are a dime a dozen. But you guys seem to put out some more orignal(ish) circuits. I respect that and will take any and ALL advice you could give.
I've built a clone from GGG (Red Llama), somewhat understand schematics, can solder and do technical things (minus some troubleshooting with a voltmeter:/)... What's next?
I don't want to take your mojo and spread it out here... So let me know if this is too taboo or private to share. But any response to any of the above would be awesome.
