Tentacle Love Fuzz
Hey hey -
Anyone here besides me keeping track of the BassFuzz.com Tentacle Love Fuzz project http://bassfuzz.com/category/tlovesf/? Apparently the first round is getting ready for sale. While I'm really intrigued, I don't think I can afford to get one at this point, so I'm hoping they all sell so he'll make more. Anyone here thinking of picking one up? CliffBass maybe?

Re: Tentacle Love Fuzz
I was thinking about it.
But it's really hard to judge how the pedal sounds because Grygrx's tone is like P with Flats, where mine is like Rick with rounds.
I bought the Supercollider based on what I heard, and it's quite different lol.

Yeah I've been keeping track of it on his site, seems like it could be a cool pedal. I dunno if I'll go for one, 280 is a little high considering I've got my eye on a spectacular aenima and a shoe gazer...
For the love of fuzz.

Re: Tentacle Love Fuzz
Hi guys, thought I'd pipe up.
First up, Devi... if this conversation in inappropriate to have here, yell at me.
In response to the thread:
1) David Main and his tentacle porn pedal +10000. I entered 3 photos in the picture contest hoping to win it (alas no). I love his creations.
2) Tentacle Love Super Fuzz being too expensive, yea... it's past the price point I wanted it to be at. Being new at trying to get certain things done, hurt me. Because of the price point for this particular design, I'm not currently planning on having another run, at least not for a good long while. All that said, there is nothing quite like it on the market, I think it takes the superfuzz design to the nth degree and sounds great on both bass and guitar.
3) I am however hopeful to do OTHER special edition pedals in the future... and Devi is on the short list of people I plan to approach. She has been super supportive of me to date, and I can't thank her enough for the words of encouragement and advise.
4) P w/Flats. All my new videos will feature multiple basses (there have always been sound clips from multiple basses on my site for reviews). I'll probably start using my active jazz as the 'starter' bass and move from there. I imagine I'll be posting a couple of additional videos of the TLSF tomorrow

Nice job; Now if money were no object, alas it always is.
It does sound great.
Grygrx; I'm happy more Tbers are making it over here.
This is probably the only site ever where really diverse musicians can get together and actually agree with each other.

You know, that's true. I never really realized that...but there is a distinct lack of arguments and douchebag posters over here.
I likes.

Re: the DE love: awwwwwwww!
I have a low tolerance for online drama myself, so this is the first board I've really felt like sticking around on & contributing to.
As for the TLSF (I was missing the "super" in the thread header - knew there was something amiss!), it's a bummer that economy of scale requires the price point to be where it is. Hopefully the first 10 will be snapped up, recorded on some hotshit albums, become total cult-fan pedals, and require a larger and more affordable run in the future.
Failing that, hopefully I'll come into a bunch of cash at the same time a TLSF conveniently turns up on ebay (maybe with a few DE, Mellowtown & Dwarfcraft pedals to boot - if I'm dreaming, may as well dream big!).
Oh, and I'd like a pony, too. Could that be arranged? Great!
