Fender Prices Going Up

The MSRP on AM standard basses is going up $200. Have to see how much the street price goes up.

I do know that every thing in my local GC will get slapped with the higher price day one.
They are kind of like a gas station in that way. Won't matter if the S/N date says it's been hanging on their wall 3 years, it will get the new higher price.

well apparently you can't pay that much for even a Mexican Fender which are now extinct apparently, so if you want a fender but can't pay more than $1000 you have to go Squier

New Jaguars and Jazzmaster cost $50 more if you wnat them in sunburst.

as far as i know, every fender guitar from the beginning of time has cost more in sunburst, at least on the fender price list.

Which is great for me because most sunburst are fucking ugly, especially with white pickguards. The only time sunbursts look appealing to me is in the SRV color combo.

Thats the SRV style I'm talking about. I just hate sunburst+white pickguards..... some people even have the nerve to put in black pick ups.

I used to have a sunburst strat with a black pickguard and a shiney gibson humbucker, it was pretty slick too. But I'm way more concerned with how a guitar looks than most people.
