Line 6 MM4

Post by leastwise »

I'm thinking of getting one of these Line 6 MM4's at some point.

Anybody have one? like it? dislike it? Let's discuss.

I have one. It seems to have some cool stuff, but I've realized that I don't use enough phase / chorus to warrant such a big pedal. I should have gotten the purple filter modeler instead. If you're in the market for an MM4, PM me, cuz I'm planning on eBaying mine.

I got one and I use it a lot. It's Keeley modded and the mod is good value, especially if you're gonna use it live (fixes a BAD volume drop). Dont forget to get a Peep for it!

On a related note...any m13 users? I was thinking of getting an fm4 and a dl4, and for that price you can get an m13 which basically is a verbzilla/dl4/mm4/dm4/dl4+better looper and a few extra delays.

You can have up to 4 effects at once and you can rearrange the order. Can even intergrate your own pedals into the m13 chain using the effects loop.
There are some that call me...morningstaru?

I was about to get a MM4 and FM4 when the M13 came out... I wanted all of the modulation effects and wanted the craziness in the filters... I got the M13 and I really enjoy the delays and the options of the distortions (which are, for the most part, awesome)... oh, and Octo-verb is AWESOME.

Speaking of the M13, will a peep work as an expression pedal? I'm sure it won't have the same sweep as one, but nonetheless, because the M13 is so huge, board space is precious...

I used an M13 for a while... It addresses the volume drop issues. And has 2 exp outs as well a bigger looper and other stuff. I'd recommend it for what it is. But you must be willing to spend time with it...

i recently purchased an mm4. i really like it. my favorite setting is "dimension" ooooooo!

there's a volume drop problem. that sucks. but maybe a hugger or boost or something can fix that.

There is a guy who fixes the volume drops on the DL-4 and I think he can do it for the mm4 as well (ON HC). And for like 30 bucks! Something with the buffer... :idk:

But anyways, this eats the crazy keeley mod prices.
