To compare the AB to FP. I'd say FP can do much lower gain, and is less compressed. Along with crazy sounds.

only picked up on it because I was there too. Don't listen to the Dead as much as I did (I had 1000+ hrs of tapes at one point) but they were what got me from playing death metal to playing jazz.
I may be seeing a couple of the Phish shows this summer, not sure how I feel about that.
