Digital guitars

Post by Bellyheart »

So I recently discovered this Image

You Rock Guitar...corny name, corny thing, but I'm always trying to make my guitar not be a guitar and this seems like the cheapest solution. Anyone hear of it?

If you're looking at that, why not check out the Rock Band Mustang? I know the frets are buttons instead of strings, but it's a MIDI guitar as well, and I believe a lot cheaper.

I think they are cool, I have yet to try one of those though... I hate the look... If I did buy one I would rip it apart and put in on a different body.

I've looked at and tried the cheapies.

I've been saving my pennies instead to just break down and buy a Roland unit.

It's not horrible if you buy the pickup and then the synth unit - and can always start with a cheaper/older unit for relatively cheap.

GR-30 + pickup will run well under $300 if you shop around, and you can flip the 30 later for about half of that and use the pickup on a -55 if you need the upgrade.

If nothing goes wrong, I should have mine on my next check in a couple weeks.

There's no real reason to throw $200+ at a toy unless you just want the toy.

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.
