Talk me out of buying a HH jaguar

Yea, first topic I started.

Anyway, I walked into the Long and McQuade yesterday cuz I wanted to see cheap basses and noodle on keyboards, but instead I fell in love with a black HH jaguar. I know I want it, but I have a tendency to fall for shiny things. I'm really on the fence about it. This is how I think about it/break it down.

Pros:
It's sexy, with a matching headstock.
Comfortable to play
decent price ($600 CDN)
CHROME Knobs
CHROME

Cons:
I have a CIJ jaguar
I have a humbucking guitar
No trem

Like I said, I have this urge to buy this, but it wouldn't fulfill any guitar needs (unless I put in p90s). So, would picking this up be good or bad?

I won't talk you out of one, I have a CP HH (since not having a trem was not an option I would consider) and it's made the Strat I've used for 13 years go on a nine-month vacation now. Even coil-splitting sounds decent, the blend option in the CP is a radical improvement over the either/or coil splitting I've used in the past.

I'm not as fond of the MIJ buckers in the fixed bridge model, but that's an easy swap if you decide they're not your style.

If I wanted a fixed bridge guitar, I wouldn't hesitate on the black Jag HH. That vs the other options in the price range it's no much of a decision.

17.8% compounded interest is a fucking rip off at L&M - considering that they distribute the interest over your payments it's as bad if not worse than a credit card

Think how much better than money would be in a locked in GIC or other stable long term investment

I enjoy humbuckers and I love Jaguars. But like some said right above me, everyone and their dad has one. They're boring looking to me, it could be because they're all black and chrome or it could be because everyone has one, but I just don't find them attractive. I'd hold out for something else if you're having doubts.

As far as everyone having one the only band I've seen using them was that band Airbourne Toxic something or other,
besides that I've only seen them on youtube. I've got one with a bigsby and its my all time favorite guitar.
