Same pickups that are in the Pawn Shop Mustang are in the CP HH regular Jag (not the black fixed bridge thing)- I have blend and not split, and expected to swap them out for something but honestly couldn't be happier.

For once Fender got buckers right.

I know, I was stunned when I first plugged it in. Had everything budgeted for a pickup swap but alas, no need.

Cool. Any trouble mounting/wiring it? How is it with both pups on?

Nah, wiring jags is easy because the routes under the pickguard are huge so there's loads of space to work. Both pups on drops the volume and cuts bass, which is pretty cool for quiet bits in a set but not a great sound otherwise. Each pickup separately gives you lots of variety anyway though so it's cool.

Forgive my noobish behavior but what does offset even mean? I need to know as I just ordered one to mod a bit.

Jimi didn't realise the horrible tone suck we had to listen to every time he used that wah.

if you look at a strat, both of the curves are directly over each other. On an offset(like a jaguar or jazzmaster), the top curve is more towards the neck.
