Exactly. The upper and lower sections of the guitar are not symmetric, rather "offset" from one another. Draw a vertical line from the center of the top inward curve to the bottom and this line will be diagonal as opposed to straight.

Here are mine, the black one is made by musikraft parts, ash body, pau ferro fretboard on a '59 style flame maple neck. Seymour Duncan antiquities I, avri hardware and mastery bridge.
The jag is an all original '62, refinished and aged in olympic white with a mastery bridge. The sunburst is a Thinskin '59, with Seymour Duncan antiquities I and mastery bridge.

I have a Lace sensor dually (red/silver) in the bridge so the 2nd switch lets me switch from red, silver, or both together. So I have 7 possible pick-up combinations :cool:
