Godin

Post by JulioA69 »

Godin.....anyone own an SD or any Godin....I played a real low end one and thought it wasnt bad but now I found one that has got my attention......I was saving up for a Parker Fly but this damn recession is not doing well with my need for gear.....Ill still get the fly someday but for now the Godin is more than enough.....for a while of course.....

I like the idea of the SD but I cant decide between Maple or rosewood.....seeing how the body is made of contoured maple itself.....
Honestly I dont care if you suck at playing just have amazing tone to make up for it.

My friend has a Godin... I think it's a lower end model, only since he's not the type to spend a huge amount of money on electric guitar gear (yet  ). But he always gets some pretty good sounds (moreso now that he just bought his first tube amp).

Last week, I was showing him and another guy a guitar part I used to play for a song they were covering. The Godin played really really nice. I was totally surprised.

i've got a freeway sa, i think it's tits, but then i'm not really a "guitar" guy, i got it more cuz of the synth access aspects. i'm not really a tone snob, more of a gear tweak. but it definitely satisfies my craving.
