Le Kits

Wouldn't it make more sense to offer the kits either with a pre-drilled/finished enclosure or no enclosure at all a la Devi Ever? I feel like the intersection of the set of people who own drill presses & can do their own paint jobs and the set of people who buy DIY kits instead of ordering parts separately and whatnot would not be all that big. I mean, kits are typically for the casual DIY'er, and the casual DIY'er could have trouble with doing their own enclosure, no? I would kind of rather buy all the parts but the enclosure from Dwarfcraft and then source an enclosure from somewhere like Mammoth or Pedal Parts Plus, reducing the difficulty of the build, risk of injury, and maybe shipping costs for Dwarfcraft. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of the kits, I guess I'd just like to see more ordering options.

Let me think about the pre-drilled thing. We are drilling one, because someone asked us to. I don't really have an issue with drilling them, I guess. But it would be easier to drill all or none, from a logistics perspective.

I guess for this run, since there are only a few left, we will leave it and if someone wants it drilled, they can email us and ask. For the next round, we will probably drill them.

Maybe we could just start a topic in DIY for the build of these. It would take some pressure/annoyance off you two, and people would still get their answers. Maybe you could direct people with a link to the thread as well? Just a suggestion. I'm still waiting on mine, so can't have any questions yet! No but really, anyone in DIY can help. Those guys are awesome.
