yeah...you're right...i always forget about those solids from the 70's.

I had a friend that traded his 5120 for a triple humbucker Flying V because the floating bridge kept moving around too much for him to keep playing metal on it. He had it strung with Not Even Slinkys, and if that had immobilized the bridge like we had hoped, I'm fairly certain he'd still be shredding away on it.
