Outputting voltage from guitar

Post by lionelfischer »

I'm looking to control parts of my modular synth with my guitar. or rather, from my guitar. Does anyone know of anything small that can be taped onto my guitar, or installed inside, basically i'm looking for a knob that i can have on my guitar that sends control voltage to my modular synth.

Could you use a MIDI pickup to do it?

That's probably larger & more expensive than what you're thinking, though.
good deals are here.
flesh couch is here.

I know you can plug a guitar direct into the Harvestman Stilton Adapter. whatever the Doepfer effect insert module is (138d?) would probably work as well.

and I realize that's basically the opposite of what you asked for, but that's the way I know how to do it.
