Do it and tell me whether it's worth it or not? I've been on the fence about it for a year or so, I can just never quite bring myself to spend that much on a bridge.
Mastery is a game changer, for sure. I have one on my 64 JM and it's night and day compared to the mustang bridge on my warmoth. Admittedly, I'm not a huge fan of TOM bridges, but I've never played a CP to know how well they work with that setup. If you don't mind the cost, I'd say go for it.
Hey! Let's talk about serious thing. We're gonna talk about guitar, dude.

I have never played a TOM on a Jazz or Jag. Mine actually came with a modified stang bridge and I still do not jive with it. I think I need the Mastery!
Mine has a cheap-ass TOM which I quite like, had no real problems with it which is why I'm reluctant to get the mastery just as an upgrade. Maybe try a TOM as a much cheaper option first in case you like it? Or just go for a mastery because they look awesome.
I have no issues with the TOM on a Mustang or a Jag, and tuning is stupid stable on the Jag. Mustang isn't bad but well, the lipstick trem never was a grand idea
Jag stays in tune without ghosting the guitar synth, which is why I'm loathe to change to anything else.
