Farida Guitars - any experience?

Post by phantasmagorovich »

Has anyone played one of these puppies?

Seems to be a british company, relatively unknown and I stumbled upon them by chance. The prices would be alright if the quality was good.

I really like the parlor guitars:

But there are some really cool electrics as well:

And so on. I know, try before you buy etc. But I am still intrigued by these guys. Does anyone know anything about them? Any experiences with these guitars/dudes?

I tried one of the acoustics in a shop once, it was ok; basically what you would expect for the price, reasonable quality but nothing special.

That airline style LP is sexy as hell.

I've been lusting after an Eastwood Airline Reso-o-glass deluxe, but that thing looks pretty damn slick, too.

the tobacco sunburst parlor guitar is adorable, and the electrics are classic wacky cheapazoid numbers. if i saw them in a shop i'd have to check them out. the Voxamacallit Thinline cracks me up, and i have a deep burning desire to take the faux National and put FilterTrons in it.
