CVs in general are pretty awesome. I really dig my CV Jazz bass, and my buddy plays a CV Tele, and it's super nice.

I had the 50's CV strat in white with maple neck. I miss it in a big bad way.

if i'd not found my MIM fretless Jazz Bass, i was planning on buying the CV version, which i've played and is wonderful. i may yet get a CV P-Bass, and the Duo-Sonic is also a great little guitar. the only reason i'm not hot for the Tele and Strat is that i'm already at capacity on those models. so where's the CV Jaguar??????

Sorry for a slight derail, but this or a MIM?

Can you play them both? From stuff I've played, both MIM and CVs are pretty variable in quality, I've played good and crappy examples of both
