oh don't get me wrong they way they describe playing there is "plug and play" they know what they do and they do it well, but us being just bass and drums means we have issues.

and yeah the DI is post effects, i'd pack up my shit and boost if not.

soundguys have a job to do, if you sound shit people might look at them, they don't want that. 90% of them are Good People. that other 10% though, they can fuck off

Oh yeah I posted this before but I think it was eaten in The Great Fuzz/Loss of 2012. This is the Markbass thingy turned on and off throughout the shit, with the high cut filter halfway up when it's on:

That's just bass into fuzz into DI into board. I used one of my two basses with rounds too to try and force clicky shitty through. Man did I just fart a nasty one. Jebus this stinks.

I want to get a bass with a built in fuzz factory just to fuck with sound guys.

What really gets my goat is sounds guys bitching about how "we're artists too" when musicians shit on them for doing stupid things like cutting everything from the bass but the 32-250hz range and drenching everything is needless reverb.
