Re: NGD! Fender Pawnshop Content
I really liked the pickups on this. I played it through an AC-15. If I was in the market for a guitar with humbuckers, I'd likely be all over this model. Especially the color. Great choice and HNGD!

Thanks! I use an AC15 and can confirm the sweetness of this with that amp

Very nice guitar!
I love most everything about mine, fixed a few minor issues. Changing the bridge on mine this weekend, Toronado bridge for $20 on the Bay. Spec'd the same with 6 bent-steel saddles and string through.
Either way, the stock bridge is fine, purely an aesthetic choice and reason to attempt mod. There may be height issue, that Strat baseplate is nearly twice as thick as the Toronado but my saddles have plenty of room to go up a bit. We'll see how it goes......

Finally swapped the bridge. No trouble at all, actually setup way better with the lower profile bridge. I'd read that spacers are required on a regular Mustang. Not true with this smaller "modified" body shape which honestly looks nothing like a Mustang. Lack of trem led to a much smaller body but I love the overall offset shape, curvier with more extreme contours.
Fender obviously got scared and tagged it with the Mustang label recognition when anyone who truly loves Mustangs probably hates this thing! It clearly desecrates every beloved Mustang feature. Those pussies at Fender should've given this one a proper NEW MODEL name, offered it sized like a Jag/JM, added trem option. My balls. They would explode!
