i have a MIM fretless Jazz Bass which started out visually identical to monkeydancer's; i changed the pickguard to tortoiseshell and added the bridge and pickup covers and thumbrest to cut noise and make it like the 70s fretless JB i learned to play bass on.

Been wanting a tortoiseshell pickguard for quite a while! Every time I think about it it just seems like slightly too much money and I don't want to order one that doesn't fit my bass.
