I bet those are cool guitars, but f-holes on a jag look slightly off to me. I'd have to see one in person/play it before I can really make up my mind on it.
hmmmm. on the one hand, my reaction to mutant Jags in general is a Whole Lotta Meh (bweeeeeeeeeoooowwwwwwwmmmm). on the other, when i consider the effect of the f-hole body on the thinline Telecasters it could be interesting. but then on the prehensile tail (work with me, people) it's an ash-over-alder body, which is going to be brighter than a hospital parking lot. so in conclusion, hmmmmm.

too much going on here for me--the jag is already busy without an f hole. but fender should make these models available worldwide. can the japanese not get u.s. models?

I think they can get them, but they're price jacked.
probably because they're sticking with the f-hole design from the thinline Teles. which i agree is a mistake in the Jag design...it doesn't go with the aesthetic at all, does it?
