I might be alone in thinking that these don't look that cool.

Nah, I'm not crazy about them either. The F-hole looks weird to me.

with the bass all I can think is DAT neck dive...

It doesn't look like they did any redesign at all.

Let's just slap an f-hole on there and put 'em into production.

Well, the Jag is semi-hollow with no contours and binding and whatnot. That's different yeah? I mean, yeah, no redesign as far as controls layout and all that, more of a Frankensteining endeavor I guess.

i like the Jag and the Jazz Bass very much, but they really need to come up with a different f-hole profile for the other guitars. it's totally wrong for the shape of the bodies.

well looking at some of fender's other ideas of late it seems to be working better then the cheap beer and strippers that the US office seem to use..
