It doesn't look like they did any redesign at all.

Well, the Jag is semi-hollow with no contours and binding and whatnot. That's different yeah? I mean, yeah, no redesign as far as controls layout and all that, more of a Frankensteining endeavor I guess.

That's what Fender Japan is, a wierd Frankenstein office where they get drunk on sake, hire hookers, and try to figure out how to make a new thing out of three existing things.

i like the Jag and the Jazz Bass very much, but they really need to come up with a different f-hole profile for the other guitars. it's totally wrong for the shape of the bodies.

well looking at some of fender's other ideas of late it seems to be working better then the cheap beer and strippers that the US office seem to use..
