It's one of the reasons the Mascis was amazing, the neck was spec'd for a wider nut width etc that made it playable and enjoyable for me.

Radius is 9.5" on pretty much everything but the dead on reissues these days.

I wish the CVs would follow the Mascis lead, I wish they would - MII and MIC stuff is generally unplayable for me and I'm afraid of how the necks on the forthcoming offsets will be because of it.

Damn. I'm with you, it's hard for me to dig on slimmer necks. Even the MIM ones are borderline too narrow for me.

Yea, MIM Strats are generally on the acceptably thin side for me, I think what it is is the nut width on the imports is a common cost cutting area - if you can use a neck blank that's a couple mm thinner and get away with it....

It's not about scale (I play my Jag and Mustang without issue and I'm 6'8" with huge fingers, a Strat looks like a toy on me) but the simple too thin in all the wrong places.

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.

fretboard radius is 9.5", yes, and I'd say the neck is thicker than the Classic Vibe Tele I have for sure. not too too bad.
Maybe partying will help.

Yeah, I had a CV Tele for a quick bit but the neck was too icky for me.

Carl Verheyen always makes me want a Strat. Lil' bit on setting trems for those haven't seen it already:

I set up my Strat the Carl way, and it does indeed stay in tune and work wonderfully. It's nice to be able to bend up a full step on the B string so easily. Don't get me wrong. It's still a Strat and needs to be tuned a few times during a set. But it doesn't get too far out.

Oh man my pants.

I think this would look even more rad with a pickguard. Black or tortoise or even white would make it look complete

Pink guitars demand rosewood fretboards. Kinda dig those cupcake knobs, though.
