Yep. MM is totally right on that. 60's amp wouldn't have that pretty tolex and you'd have a different logo....many other aspects.

Personally, I would try to buy the head and then grab a new cab -- I've found stores want to sell them as a package when the head is in great shape and the cabinet not so much...

I know a guy who found an original '59 Bassman that looked brand new.
believe it or not it sounded like crap compared to the one he found in a dump.

1974 HIWATT DR-103 Custom 100 with matching cab. and its got original Mullard tubes :love:
