Big Huggz - I went out and played this one over the summer, and it was pretty great. (MIJ Martin'ish vibe.) No pickup, but it might not be a bad place to start. Plus how sweet looking are the Martin styling cues with those block inlays?

Also, the acoustic room at 14th St. Guitar Center has a TON of good stuff in the ~$500 range. I played a bunch before I found what I liked, and it really just boiled down to sound and feel for me. There were good, comparable Yamaha's / Martin's / Taylor's / Gibson's / Guild's / Etc. at every pricepoint, so I just played a bunch until I found one that felt and sounded good.

Kosta, do you know the seller? Seems like a sweet guitar!

I was really hoping to have electronics, but if that plays as nice as I'd imagine it does...

I've got a soft spot in my heart for Martin--I grew up in Nazareth, PA just a few miles from their factory.

I don't know the seller, nope. Just saw it listed over the summer and went out to give it a strum. The guy was really nice though. Even invited me to bring my trunks and stay for a dip in his pool! The guitar played really well and was in excellent condition. It was just a touch bright for me.
