Have you seen the documentary Indie Gamer? It follows the makers of Fez and Super Meat Boy while they get those games ready for launch over a period of a couple years.. it's really cool and interesting.

Yep. I played 1 and 2 a couple years ago back to back. I dig how cinematic those games can be - sometimes I had to check and see if I was controlling the character of if it was an in game movie. Sully is definitely an awesome character. He and Drake make a good team and bring some comic relief, which is always nice.

1 was decent, but 2 and 3 were both fucking masterpieces. Most cinematic games I've ever played.

I really dig the ending of 3. I love it when games have a story so good that it's the reason I play it.

I was going to start Red Dead, but decided to go back to Amalur and finish the Travelers (thieves guild) quests. So far they are soooo easy, but I suppose that I'm such a high level that any of the guilds would be easy at this point. After that I'll probably be dorky and spend a couple of hours getting achievements, then rebuild my character and put it away unless I feel the need to play some of the DLC.

Saw that Skyrim has a newish DLC out that lets you set up and build your own estate. Makes me upset that I lent out my copy.

And has anyone played the Harley Quinn DLC for Arkham City? Is it any good?

-building a house is kinda cool
-adopting/raising kids is not. THIS IS SKYRIM, NOT THE SIMS MEDIEVAL EDITION.

This. I'm completely sold on this DLC minus the kids. Can't wait to build a massive estate then pillage the countryside all around it.

I thought the next Skyrim DLC was gonna have dragon riding! I personally wouldn't bother much about estates or friggin child adoptions but I'd check out dragon riding for sure! (I don't get me wrong, I fully support adoption in the real world, it's very important and I could see Tanya and I adopting one day, we talk about it lots... but I don't think it's overly fun or cool sounding in an RPG game.)

Anybody get the DLC for Dark Souls on consoles today? New content and some gear changes...

dragon riding would've been awesome. inability to fly / jump absurdly in this one is one magic thing i missed.
after the vampires & werewolves i'm kinda surprised they haven't pulled a red dead and brought in zombies.
