Ok, so I got a BYO 6 pack from World Market tonight. Just had an Abita Pecan ale, also delicious.

PECAN ALE?!?!?! That's a thing? I must have some IMMEDIATELY!

I wonder if people make pecan porter? Because that would quite possibly be unbelievably good. Maybe. Either way, I'd want to try some.

OOOOOO... the finder function on their site says that there's five shops in my area that carry it... sadly not my friend's shop, but maybe I can persuade them to pick some up... mmmmmmmm...

Here's my holiday haul:

Brother Thelonious Abbey-style ale, Ommegang Abbey, Pyramid Snow Cap, Full Sail Wassail, Allegash White, Allegash Black, Old Rasputin Imperial Stout, Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout (aged 1yr), Magic Hat Heart of Darkness, and my standby BBC Coffeehouse Porter. Not all of it is making the trip to the relatives for the holidays, but enough of it is to keep me thankful!

I have my new keg for my kegerator, it is "Cabin Fever", Berkshire's winter lager. Fucking delicious. I got 2 pints out of it before my beer line sprung a leak. Now waiting for my new beer line to come in before I can drink more.
