Depends on how much they want for it.
I, personally, prefer rosewood fingerboards.
Not crazy about that bridge.

This
I always picture Teles as dirty bare bones guitars. I don't think they should have the word "deluxe" in their title.

You both prefer the old fashion tele bridge?

Re: Fender Telecaster American Deluxe Ash
Personally I prefer the modern bridge. The vintage style just felt uncomfortable to me for palm muting. And it didn't intonate well.
But I started playing on the modern ones on a strat, so it is what I'm used to.
Also prefer maple boards too. So basically I'm the opposite of Chankgeez...

Yeah, it really all comes down to personal preference.
Yep, more modern Tele bridges seem to have a slightly lower profile and have an added bonus of being individually intonatable.

I'm half and half... Modern bridge cause of the same Strat thing and Rosewood cause it's hot...

Re: Fender Telecaster American Deluxe Ash
I want to get a Tele in 2013.
I'll probably swap the pickup for Lollar T Special.
Guess it's time to visit some store and try as many as I can... to know what I prefer.
