Jazzmaster style Offset Gigbag/Case

Post by Schlatte »

Hi!
I recently joined the club of the offset owners and sold my tele. Now the problem is that (who would've thought that :whateva: ) the giant offset body doesn't fit the normal strat/tele gigbag.
I borrowed a bass gigbag from a friend, but it was way too long and I couldn't secure the neck.
Now my question is: What do you guys use for your Jazzmasters?
I found this:

But I wonder if there is a cheaper alternative..

Thanks!

i would pay the extra euros and buy a hard case. i think it's worth it in the long run, especially if it's an expensive guitar.

Well, it isn't an overly expensive guitar. And I certainly don't want to buy a case that costs more than the guitar itself
I just need it for a little bit of protection when going to school with it or something... maybe 5 times per month or so... so it doesn't have to be that sturdy.. just a little bit protection from rain, scratches and stuff like that.

Nothing seems to be cheaper and/or available here in austria. There has to be some cheap big gigbag that fits an offset body, damn it. I don't want to pay over 50€ for a case I would use maybe 5 times a year.

Well, it's not a real jazzy. It's just an offset body and apparently it is too wide to fit a standard bag... because either the top horn or the butt where the output is sticks out.

Did that the last two times... just looks so unprofessional...and kinda creepy... looks like you're carrying a kid's body. I have to go on a hunt for a cheap bag next week.

Not that expensive (half the price of the softcase) and more than big enough!
