Boss and I had a long talk today in her office. Started with a customer complaint and then morphed into talking about design, architecture, music, emotion in music, the construction of electric guitars, the advantages of aluminum, the ideology of Keiji Haino. Fuck. It was one of the coolest talks I've had in a while and got me thinking about different things and got me excited to create. Ended on talking about Spanish Flaminco music and how the emotions of that music are more felt than other genres. Which got me thinking about how Spanish style acoustic music has broken down the sound into specific guitars to cover certain ranges or tones instead of having one specific instrument covering such a range.

Was inspired by Kosta's guitar today, just got me full of energy. Think I'm going to build a parts bass here soon with the neck of a J Bass my dad bought me as my first bass, and an EGC neck pickup. I want to build it to be as utilitarian as possible.

Building a website for me and my lady's wedding, feels good to be a cyber architect again. I get so fucking fixed on web design when I do it. It's so rewarding to find the solution to a problem, and have the solution work multi-platform.

My lady was having a shit day for a bit, stressed about the wedding but I got her to smile.

Parts are here for me to put together this Harmonic Purcolator with as close as I could get to Albini Specs parts and some sweet Sozo caps.

I'm excited to knock out Mathia's pedal and Foomanfats, and hopefully get Rot Gut's WSG off the bench. I feel like shit about it but I just need to get that shit done.

Fell asleep tangled up with the temperature in the apartment set low last night, woke up and saw the lady I'm going to marry in 74 days.

I'm just stoked today. It was a good day at work too, which NEVER seems to be the case statistically speaking.

I had a sip of coffee this morning for the first time in almost a month from Starbucks and it literally gave me enough energy to carry me through the day. I can't have coffee because of my acid reflux but damn that jolt of energy was nice.

Going to knock out the website tonight, going to knock out the last few touches on the wedding invites, going to knock out this harmonic percolator, going to ace this fucking interview, fix the fuck out of that WSG and fucking WIN.

Just realised last night that the next 11 chapters of trapped in the closet were released a few months ago. OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS SHIT SO MUCH AND I HOPE IT NEVER ENDS.
