It will likely be dark most of the time I am there because it is so far north. And cold.
But, yes, it has been cold in the Midwest
I will try my best to discover the ancient secrets of metal while there. I am gonna try to convince my new coworkers in Sweden to help me find some shows to go to (not that I know my new coworkers yet.)

Searching for that new sound.
If you can read this, then I'm back?
1) Rehearsed & finalised my set-list for tomorrow's show. 2) Fixed the rattle in my amp that was driving me nuts. 3) Fixed the hum on my solo board that was driving me nuts. 4) Girl stuff. 5) Am in terrific physical shape.

hell yeah, im over summer though i dont think i could handle "artic" cold either, couldnt handle it in Aussie either with your 30-40+ deg days being on blood thinners doesnt help, notice the cold and the heat more, i like it around 20 deg

And it's gonna cost a ton <- this part goes in the hate/rage thread.
Come to my house!
Where you headed?

That’s quarter-assed at best.

just recorded a first song with Elements! if i manage to get a hold of a bass to finish the song, i'll totally post it here
btw because i recorded pretty much straight, i got to see the spectral analysis of the pure signal without any preamp or speaker affecting it, the way i have it set it has a lot of very healthy mids and maybe a bit too much highs . but that makes it superspanky with middle and neck positions which i like
You gotta set the highs high on the Elements...even on bass it's at 3:00 or higher almost all the time. Shit rocks...just what I needed; the rest of the time my playing was either all clean or all fuzzy, it's nice to have something in between.
