Re: THE BEER THREAD(?)----->!!!
I have had beer less than five times in my life. I think I've only had Keith's, but I could never get into it. I thought it tasted awful, but I used to drink London Beefeater straight.
I was/have been edge for nine years and admittedly have an edge tattoo. I dropped the label a while back and just live a clean, (somewhat) healthy lifestyle. While I have no intentions on ever covering up my tattoos, I don't plan on becoming a drinker or anything just because I dropped the label.
With that being said, I recently decided I want to try Sake next time I get sushi. While it's not beer, I discovered MateVeza and would definitely try that. So shoot me. Maybe trying them will turn me off from alcohol again. The sound of pumpkin ale makes my mouth water, though...
Talk about rambling...

Edge, or ex-x is welcome here. I've known some awesome straightedge guys. There was never all this division like "burnouts vs. straightedge" shit. They used to play bodyguard to all of us drunks and burnouts when we were in no condition to intelligently defend ourselves from redneck attacks. Cool guys, all of 'em.

I guess I'm still classified as an edge kid. I never "broke", I just don't use the label anymore. I was never a preachy dude about it. I just did my own thing. When I was a somewhat social person, I went to parties and stayed up late as fuck with all the cool kids. Now that I have a car, it's even better. My bandmates are definitely drinkers, so it's always good knowing I can get them home (or to our next venue).

PECAN ALE?!?!?! That's a thing?

I wonder if people make pecan porter? Because that would quite possibly be unbelievably good. Maybe. Either way, I'd want to try some.
OOOOOO... the finder function on their site says that there's five shops in my area that carry it... sadly not my friend's shop, but maybe I can persuade them to pick some up... mmmmmmmm...
