StereoTomic?
I'm thinking about going to that, Stockades are awesome.
I hear you though, I only know a handful of people that are into most of the stuff I am so I end up going places alone or missing out altogether a fair bit.
My advice is to go if you know you'll regret not going, don't be held back by social anxiety!

I took this headache medicine to early and now I'm falling asleep. Just six more minutes of work. Must.... stay... conscious....

Re: The what ever thread...
when the question is "go to the show or not?" the answer is ALWAYS "go if you can." i've been to shows where i thought i'd be utterly alone and miserable and wound up partying, talking, and otherwise interacting with the people around me. and even if you don't get chatty with your co-audients, there'll be the music, and those notes produced will never occur again. i've never said "geez, i've seen way too much live music," but rather "i sure wish i'd seen <name of artist HERE>." i could string out a list all day of people i never got to see who i regret missing. so go already.

That was so great. It's insane how much of a hilarious wildman he is while also being polite, well-spoken and incredibly thoughtful. I saw an ad on facebook for his tour and it was like "MESSIAH COMPLEX come and see it if you like." So polite.
I'm so glad people still like Russell Brand. I've always loved him and I was afraid he people were starting to get tired of him.
Although I can imagine how Katy Perry did, if he's like that ALL THE TIME.
Brand X is pretty great too, it's kind of like that except he's the host and has Steve Jones (or as he calls him Jonesey) from the Sex Pistols as his sidekick/entire band.

Everything you said is AWESOME, but he left that ugly girl and told her by text on New Years Eve...

that video was wonderful. the only way it could be better if he'd actually have hijacked Joe Scarborough and flown him into a building.
