Re: Do you folks like coffee?
When I'm not away at school, my homedawgs and I go on daily starbucks runs. 90% of the time we all get black coffee. Nice and delicious and cheap.
But I like to mix it up with Dunkin every once in a while. It's nice to enjoy something that isn't so bold sometimes.
As for different roasts and all that, I'm pretty easy to please. If it's hot, I'll drink it. Sometimes, a nice cup o' burnt sludge hits the spot just right.

hahaha I meant that as in black coffee is the cheapest thing Starbucks has to offer.
Which is another good reason to hit up Dunkin. Their coffee is even more financially friendly.

Re: Do you folks like coffee?
I love coffee but I can't stand Starbucks' drip.
Just... ew.
I keep giving it a chance for some reason. Mistake every single time. Tastes burnt to me.
We've got a couple of really good places here, Coffea especially. Shorter lines, better taste, and a better atmosphere. Love going there.
Doesn't hurt that they have a good selection of pie and give you a chocolate-coated bean with every drink.
Nothing will ever beat their drips for me. So smoooooth.

Oof. It's half that at the store.
I always enjoy when I can get to a small coffee shop with a nice cold brew.

So, what I'm getting here is that some people here like good coffee and most people here like bad coffee.

Grinders, organic blend.
Mocha.
Made by cute barristinas that know what they're doing.
It's like having a tiny affair for the day.
My advice to you single men: don't get marrried.

See I like good coffee (what I think is good, anyway) but I also drink what's available as long as it is palatable. I won't drink most fast food chains' coffee

i'll drink whatever coffee i have to to get some coffee in me. given the choice, i like medium to dark roast fancy pants shit (i do live in portland, after all). we've got tons of good roasters that i like. stumptown and extracto being two of my favorites. batdorf and bronson from oly is really good too. i hate all french roast. fucking disgusting. but i'll drink gas station shit if i have to. gots to have the coffee. with coffee i like i usually have it black, but a little cream can cover for many sins and transgressions.

I'm a coffee snob but I like cheap deli coffee every now and then (not that bad though). Let that shit cool and just chug it.
Ethiopian Yirgachaffe is amazing. There's this amazing coffee place near me called Porto Rico that has everything and then some. Just copped some Monsoon Malabar! (beans are exposed to monsoon passes through beans in open warehouse, has a neutral ph, but still hella strong)

Back when I was picking beans in Guatemala, we used to make fresh coffee, right off the trees I mean. That was good. This is shit. but, hey, I'm in a police station.
