Re: Great Wall V2

FINALLY got around to playing with this a little bit today. I LOVE it! Quick assessment:

Balls out awesome, I honestly didn't play too much with the fuzz knob- kept it within an hour of, if not totally max'ed (duh!), and playing with the Volt goes brighter to dark when I going from left to right, IIRC. Solidstate 65 watt Crate I got several years ago and a 10 year old MIM Tele are what I'm playing through, and I find middle position sounds best with this set up. It's gonna take some toying with while to find out where I really want it, but this thing RAWKS!

On a side note, I'm actually playing with the tone knob on my tele for the first time ever. I don't like the factory pots; volume is alright, but tone goes from bright to dark way to quick for my liking, with little middle ground, but with the Great Wall, darkening the tone a little is actually feasible.

Practice tonite is gonna be AWESOME!
