Stems for sampling/remixing

Post by Deltaphoenix »

Anybody have a sweet place to get some stems (not the crack kind though..)?

I downloaded some Death Grips stems off of their Twitter- http://pitchfork.com/news/53763-death-g ... -for-free/

I think I know where to get a bunch of A Capella tracks from pop songs, I will post links when I am sure. It will be fun to mess some of those up.

Why have I never thought of getting in to this before?! Thanks, Delts!

Found this as a starting point: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_musical_works_released_in_a_stem_format

I am going to get on that "Nuthin but a G Thang"
I started working on something yesterday but I need to mix better before trying to add in the Vocal Stem. It is kind of an Acid Sounding sequence that I made on my Analog Four and drum machine. I was going to drop MC Ride on top.
