Yeah on the serious that's not cool at all.

If it happens again you should probably call the cops.

Yeah. We are going to have to. I hope it doesn't happen again, but if it does, we are calling.

Yus. I'm almost entirely positive that the police don't release who made the initial phone call to either party, if that helps assuage some of it.

That makes me feel a little better. I'm pretty sure it was so bad the people that live above them and diagonal to them could also hear it. Sheesh

I had to call cops on my neighbor at the last place (apartment) we lived in because it sounded like he was raping an old bag lady. If the fuzz hadn't got there as fast as they did I would have said fuck it and kicked the door down, but I was a little worried dude would have a gun.

Basically we heard what at first sounded like loud fucking around midnight, but then on further and closer listening was a woman clearly saying "no, no, no, get off me, get off me, get off me, help help" in a raspy, drugged-out old lady voice. I'd already had sketchy encounters with the guy, who was clearly an ex-convict. I felt shitty calling the cops but it was that or bust in there swinging my sword and maybe getting shot.

Cops came, guy went willingly, the lady was old and drunk and high and maybe homeless and was trying to jump out the second story window to get away from the guy when the police got there. Guy must have known I was the one who called them, but it turns out he had enough of a prior criminal record, including assault and some kind of sex offense, that I don't think they ever let him out on bail. Never saw him again, but I definitely worried about my girlfriend's safety for a little bit after that. Then again, I worried about her safety when he was living there!

Moral of the story is, if you hear something, do something. It might be the victim's last chance for safety. Deal with your own security afterwards.

Yeah. We're laying in bed now. If we hear something tonight we are calling and we took note of the apartment number.
On a dissimilar note, two cats were just fighting outside of our door and one threw the other into the door. Fucking weird shit happening here the past two days

I wish I could sleep. I can count on my fingers the number of times I have slept more than a few hours in a night since August.

Why does it seem like everyone I know is in relationships that just last? They meet people. They date. They get married. Why can I not have that?

Also, I need to piss so bad I'm going to die and one of my roommates is in the shower. She takes hour long showers.

I've been doing this online dating thing for like two weeks and already I feel like the worst person alive. I just don't know how to be around people. period.

I just spent about 2.5 hours researching Mechanical Keyboards prices because I don't really like mine, I was so close to ordering a particular model from Canada because I couldn't find it anywhere locally. I could've been doing anything with that time - let alone using that money for something productive, i'm legitimately pleased that I didn't actually buy anything.

The fuck is wrong with me.

I just can't seem to summon the motivation to update my portfolio even though I really need to get a job soon. I think I'm being paralyzed by the amount of anguish it's going to take to get it done, and the fear of having to put myself out for scrutiny once it is. Ugh.
