Advice re: amplifier/speaker for drum machine, keyboard, etc

Post by Ro_S »

I'm seeking advice on what type of amplifier or speaker I need for my keyboard and drum machine, and possibly a guitar pre-amp. This is for use at home and recording.

What kind of thing do I need, please?

Also, any suggestions of any specific models would be useful.

thanks!

No replies, but I recently got a second-hand Laney keyboard/multi-purpose amp.

You could use a keyboard amp for the keys and drum machine and use the line out of that for recording, or depending on the keyboard and drum machine, using MIDI or direct out into a d.i. into an interface would do it. Or use a small mixer into a power p.a. speaker for live and recording, just go left/right out ino an interface on the mixer.

There are keyboard specific amps, but a bass amp could work as well.
