The only thing I dislike about the Code Orange Kids is their personalities of that sorta spoiled our shit don't stink attitude. A few friends from over has set up shows and played with them and didn't have much kindness to say about that. other than that I still like what I've heard. I'll have to listen to this new track later when I get home. Don't have anything from them but I really like that song Flowermouth something like that... I liked how odd and broken up with pauses it was.

Nah its still a prototype.

Its really really clear and tight on the bottom end. It reminds me a whole lot of the elements, just the low gain of this thing isn't in overdrive territory, its low gain fuzz.

That Doom Bloom is sweet. I'm still waiting on a few sweeties from Tom myself.

Also, Code Orange (Kids) are bad ass.

Ditto. That's one of the best looking graphics I've ever seen on a pedal. I'm sure it sound killer too. I know Senor Pinnacle loves his.

So I managed to get the Sunn fully operational thanks to a major brain assist from Nick. At this point I really think that guy owns the title of DOOM LORD for all the awesome he has made and all the musicians he has helped. Fucking awesome dude. Bear gets an assist on that as well. Turns out my idea was valid but my pot placement was not and one of em was shorting on a bolt that stuck up farther than I had thought. Easy fix but I was ready to pack it in the van, drop it off in seattle and give all my money to a (very rad) amp tech. I'm pretty sure it would not have ended up being as expensive as I'd imagined, as he would probably have had it fixed fast but still..

If anyone with a late 60's era Sunn want's all the taps available, hit me up and I'll walk you through it. Just be more conscious of where you drill the new jack holes than i was...

That doom bloom looks badass. And glad to hear you got the Sunn working Ax. I'm working on a late 60s sunn for a client right now. Everything is pretty much good just need to replace a few caps. But he is probably going to be using it for some bluesy stuff. I will have to band out some doom through it before I give it back to him so that it can know its true potential.

Its true potential... as a clean pedal platform?

There are many days I wish Sunn had just called themselves ProCo instead.

Hahaha, true, true. I was mainly joking. It will have a nice home. The guy just recorded an album at the studio I work for and some of his gear was in a flood. He wanted the sunn fixed so he could have a loud clean amp for his les paul since his smaller combo wasn't cutting it with the gibson but was good with his fender guitar.

Cannot wait for the DBloom to drop.
Everything Ry has posted about it since it was a tingle in his and Tom's collective nether regions has been boner inducing.
Also, there's a thread over in the fuzzhugger forum about it, magiclawnchair put a pretty rad demo up.
