The trend lately is that a lot of the bands I had written off ever seeing here are coming down and doing fairly quick (within 24 months) repeat tours, so hopefully they made enough money and had a good enough time to consider coming back soon.
The next time they come back I reckon I'll probably see them here and travel to Sydney or Melbs for another intake...maybe Radelaide so I can see my mate there actually.

Yeah it's my own fault for not sorting it out quicker.

The UK stopped doing passports through their embassies in Feb, so I had to do it online, sending everything off to England... and of course its summer over there so its their busiest time.
Apparently they've got the largest backlog ever, and the least staff, due to cuts, they even went on strike last Monday.

You're right about the surprising tours, some have even made it over here, which is cool. Although COC in a room that holds sixty people probably isn't gonna help repeat business. hah. Heathen Skulls dodgyness hasn't helped either.

Spent a few days in Chattanooga and got to hang out and eat pizza with Mark and his family. They all rule and are the nicest people ever. He said to tell you guys hi and thanks for the support.

I made it true bypass and removed the buffer, and it worked on the first try! Sounds aight, like a crybaby should. But for free I ain't complaining! :yay:

Free Crybabies are awesome. A buddy gave me mine too. I have gone through and put most of the Jerry Cantrell mods on it all except for the knob to adjust the top end of the toe sweep. One cool thing to do though is socket the middle cap on the second row from the bottom. I put a .01uf cap that I took out of an LPB-1 and it sounds synth like in the sweep Really deep and pronounced. Gets crazy with fuzz.

Yes, yes they are!!! That's awesome that you modded your yourself! Do u have links to the mods? I'm thinking of modding mine but I'm actually relatively happy with the stock sound. With my gear having to much low end resonance tends to cause nullification of sound so the standard mid range honk works out pretty well. I might try that socket idea, seems like something where I could easily test different things yet put it back to stock easily.

Right now I'm high on having some good news for a change

My relationship doesn't have to end, my career can start, I can find people to jam with, I don't have to give up all those friends I made this summer, I'm not going to be poor for the next year

It's all coming up Apples

Don't ya love it when a plan comes together?

T-rey, I'm hoping to complete the Computer Science engineering program ant UW Tacoma. Right now I'm concentrating on getting all the core classes out of the way.

DOS, you are right about the idiots. Some times I miss the army where it was considered ok, and even encouraged to completely loose your shit on an idiot when they did something stupid. Keeping my mouth shut and allowing people to act like fools is difficult for me.

Haha, we just saw that sound engineer's post on the FB page and thought the same thing. Fell to Low is no slouch in the volume department so this should be fun. I'll be in a Nails shirt with a mustache and beanie, see you there duder!

That still feels like solid decision making. Plus IT dudes can be dicks to everyone and get away with it, because it's 2014 and somehow people still don't have a basic understanding of computers. I'm worlds better at troubleshooting/fixing computers and network stuff than the IT department for the company I work for, but everyone lets them do as they please and doesn't question them since they all think that computers are made of unicorn dicks and magic.

That makes me miss the army too, even though I was never enlisted. And with that, you answered the question in my book for me :animal:
